PlexusAV will be showcasing its IPMX-based AV-over-IP system at ISE 2024.
The system has USB-C, RS232 and IR features, as well as a new Stream Conversion Gateway.
The Plexus AVN-4 transceiver – the system’s encoder and decoder of video and audio signals – adds advanced features such as video thumbnail support and one-click source switching to facilitate the configuration and monitoring of content. NMOS, the control protocol in IPMX, provides easy-to-use signal routing, allowing video, audio and control on separate Ethernet ports.
A Visual Array management platform makes a PlexusAV system turnkey by offering bulk deployment. A System Dashboard provides device statistics, alarm aggregation and tools such as IGMP auto detect and IP Conflict detection.
The Stream Conversion Gateway (SCG), which is making its European debut at ISE 2024, supports various non-IPMX protocols, allowing them to flow in and out of the PlexusAV network.
It enables an installation to break free from the traditional limitations of AV-over-IP solutions that ignore existing third-party protocol-based sources.
The SCG does not require users to go back to baseband to connect signals in an AV-over-IP network to ‘outside’ destinations such as lecture capture platforms or archiving solutions. NDI capabilities have also been added to provide users with expanded interoperability.
Steven Cogels, global director of business development, said: “ISE 2024 marks the full debut of our entire new range of products in Europe. This includes the AVN4, Visual Array and Stream Conversion Gateway, which will be demonstrated working together.
“While the products are all designed to utilise the interoperable IPMX platform, they are not dependent on it. The range is packed with features and benefits that make the lives of AV consultants, system integrators and end users so much easier.”
PlexusAV will be at Booth 4G510 in Hall 4 at ISE 2024, which takes place from 30 January-2 February.
